HC 1.0A STANDARD

This is an alpha state specification and can be a subject to change

Human Commons is a declaratory standard for marking art, products, services, and other entities to indicate whether they are human-made or the extent to which AI was involved, helping people make more informed choices.This document contains guidelines on how to use Human Commons marks and which mark is appropriate for your situation.

STRUCTURE

The mark consists of three parts:1) HC (can be expanded to Human Commons)
2) Version of the specification (e.g., 1.0A, where A indicates the Alpha stage)
3) Level of AI involvementHC 1.0A HU means that an entity has been declared by the user as following the 1.0A standard version guidelines and is entirely human-made.

HUMAN COMMON MARKS

HC 1.0A HU

The entity was created entirely by a human. AI was used only for non-creative aspects of the process

HC 1.0A HU-AI

The entity was created by a human with AI involvement in the creative process

HC 1.0A AI-HU

The entity was created by AI with human involvement in the process

HC 1.0 AI

The entity was created entirely by AI, with human involvement limited to non-creative aspects
